Customer Review: I'll have this ladle the rest of my life

Rosle has a reputation for top quality, but until I stumbled on a 4-for-3 Amazon deal I didn't give myself permission to test that reputation. I'm glad I bought this, however. The construction is beyond "sturdy;" I think I could hammer nails with this thing. There's no seams, so there's no way that this ladle can fall apart. I'm sure I'll have it for 30 years.
Also, it looks good (in a functional way -- I'm not saying I'd be tempted to use it as a formal serving spoon). The pouring rim *does* make it easier to use, and I the hook keeps the ladle from going kerPLUNK into the stock pot.

This ladle, with a pouring rim, provides a made-to-measure solution for ladling and portioning. Like all Rosle Tools, this one is made by a team of engineers and artisans who combine the best of both worlds spending days, months or sometimes years developing and designing each of their tools to exacting standards and specifications..One of Rösle's superb kitchen utensils, this 11.8-inch ladle has an all-around pouring rim to prevent drips. The head is 3.14 inches in diameter and holds 3.7 ounces. Like all Rösle utensils, tools, and Open Kitchen storage components, the ladle is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The ladle is hygienically seamless, with a mirror-finish head and a satin-finish handle that conceals finger marks. A subtle center groove and rounded edges ensure a secure, comfortable grip.
